Ep. 26: Treasures of the Trials
Tuesday Jan 02, 2024
Tuesday Jan 02, 2024
I've referenced our story in multiple episodes, but I've never told it. It felt like the right time to share, but I couldn't do so without my husband, Jason. So, I invited him back on to do just that. As you listen, I pray that you are pointed to the One who inspired us to press on through the trials we endured during 2020-2023.

Ep. 25: Dispatches from a Witness
Monday Nov 20, 2023
Monday Nov 20, 2023
Join me for my interview with Tim Keesee, the founder and executive director of Frontline Missions International. We discussed his most recent book, A Day's Journey: Stories of Hope and Death-Defying Joy. The Lord used His battle with terminal cancer to guide the themes of this book.
Tim has travelled to over one hundred countries for the sake of encouraging churches who are on the frontlines of the Gospel. Find out what he learned about God and the Gospel along the way. I know you will be encouraged as Tim points to the Shepherd who has guided and loved him all of his days.

Ep. 23: Rescue the Perishing
Monday Oct 23, 2023
Monday Oct 23, 2023
Join me today as I interview Becky Ward, missionary to the orphaned boys of Kinchasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She and her husband Lee have ministered there together in different capacities for decades. Becky grew up in the Congo and comes from a long line of precious believers (the Grings) who poured out their lives in the Congo for the sake of the Gospel.
***Episode Correction: I mistakenly described Ruth Hege as Becky's aunt. Her aunt was Irene Ferrel, and she was the one to have tragically lost her life at the hand of the terrorists.
Companion episodes to today's episode are episodes 6 & 7.

Ep. 22: Through Gates of Endurance
Tuesday Sep 12, 2023
Tuesday Sep 12, 2023
Elisabeth Elliot, a linguist, an American missionary to Ecuadorian Indians, a world-renowned author, and an engaging speaker lived a life of obedience to Christ from a young age to her death. She endured much loss in her lifetime, just like you and me. She was not super human. She just followed a super God.

Ep. 21 Abiding Faith & Chronic Pain
Monday Aug 21, 2023
Monday Aug 21, 2023
One must know the pain of the curse before they can fully appreciate the curse being broken (see Genesis 3). I can only imagine Eve, Sarah, Rachel, Hannah, and Elizabeth (Genesis 1-3, 12-21, 29-33, 35; I Samuel 1-2; Luke 1) gathering around my next guest, Evangeline Sanders, to hear her story. Come along with us as we discuss how a deep abiding faith in the Curse-Breaker carried Evangeline and her husband through the deep waters of endometriosis.

Ep. 19: A Season’s Journey Ended
Wednesday Apr 19, 2023
Wednesday Apr 19, 2023
How do you summarize something that has impacted you eternally? It's quite the challenge, but my husband and I attempted to do so in this episode as we reflected on God's goodness and guidance through the first season of "Cloud of Witnesses."

Ep. 18: Rooted & Grounded in Christ, Part 5
Wednesday Apr 05, 2023
Wednesday Apr 05, 2023
In my husband's final message, he described three truths that seem too good to be true for a believer. The first truth is that God only gives what is best to His children. Not only that, He also forgives them. And best of all, He will never stop loving them. If this doesn't spur you on to endurance, I don't know what will!
